Version 1.14 has new cohort features in anticipation of our inventory planning capabilities.

Cohorts

You’re now able to manage what proportion of participants are allocated to each cohort. A cohort can then be divided further to assign treatment arms. This gives you more flexibility in defining your treatment arms and allocating participants to them. While we only support randomized assignment for now, we have sequential assignment on our roadmap, which will work well for dose-escalation studies.

In the updated user interface, you’ll also find projected participant counts for each cohort to help you allocate effectively. The screenshot below is an example study with 100 participants, so you can see how the 1:2 ratio is allocated.
