Lot Recommendations

This release features a brand-new lot recommendation capability, working with your forecasts and existing lots to determine the pack & label lots required to satisfy demand. You can enter shelf life extensions, expected lead time, minimum order size, and maximum order size to tailor Bluefin’s recommendations, per part.

The new recommendations show up on the Supply tab of Forecasting, under “Recommended Allocations”. You can take a suggestion to easily create a planned lot in the system where you can further tweak quantity, availability, and expiration dates.

Bluefin will dynamically update this lot as you make changes to your lots, letting you know exactly how much of your lots are forecasted to be utilized by the study plan.

For maximum flexibility, you’ll also notice on the supply page that you can filter, sort, group, and edit the columns of the table now.

You can work on lots in an updated interface. We added a “Status” field to make “Planned” lots distinct from “Ordered” lots.

Fixes

• Fixed table filter and column popovers sometimes not showing up
• Fixed “Global” italicized text getting cut off
• Fixed being able to clear out “Available At” date on labels

Performance

• Tuned the new forecasting engine to better cache internal state and make better use of memory.
